Hemptouch, the latest in CBD skincare

Last month I was lucky to be gifted two products: The pristine forest body lotion and the moisturizing bright essence. Cruelty free, vegan, organic and locally sourced Hemptouch is a company that looks into skin issues in a holistic way.

These are the first products I have tried that contain CBD oil so I was excited to try and see what I thought of the new Beauty buzzword. CBD (aka cannabidiol) has become extremely popular within the beauty industry over the last 18 months with more and more people investing in these products.

And for good reason! Science backed and super versatile this ingredient is known for its powerful anti-inflammatory antioxidant and anti-ageing properties – which I am ALL about.

I was immediately drawn to the Moisturizing bright essence. Ideal to brighten dull complexions and add some serious hydration to your skin, I have been keen to add this into my skincare regime. Ingredients include silver fir extract; damask rose and CBD oil. I have been using this after my cleanser and before my toner, and it is amazing. With a soft rose scent I have really noticed how hydrated my skin has been looking.

Its super light and fresh so if you’re having a no makeup day it would be perfect to spritz throughout the day. A little goes a long way and I suggest adding to a cotton pad first.

The Body lotion is rich yet lightweight on the skin and if you have dry patches this lotion would be perfect. It absorbs well and sinks into my skin easily, however I am not super keen on the smell, I wish it had the same scent as the spray! I did however love how easy this was to keep my skin moisturized, sometimes when you use a cream for drier skin, it can be thick and take a lot of work to rub in, this doesn’t it sinks in easily and leaves your skin really soft and moisturized.
