An exciting new adventure bar has opened in Liverpool City Centre with everything you need in a hangout spot!
Since hearing about the launch of Boom: Battle Bar earlier this year we’ve been eagerly waiting to get down there and check it out. This weekend we finally got the chance to pop along and test out some of the fun activities at Liverpool’s hottest new adventure bar.
Boom: Battle Bar Activities
Boom: Battle Bar has a whole load of crazy games and state-of-the-art activities on offer at it’s Liverpool venue. Including shuffleboard, electric darts, axe throwing, ‘crazier’ golf, Skee ball, beer pong and even a photo booth.
Bavarian Axe Throwing:
I’ve always wanted to try axe throwing, so I booked us in for a lesson on one of their lanes. It’s a lot harder than it looks, but so much fun and a great way to let off some steam! What could be more therapeutic than launching some axes at the wall?

Electric Darts:
Boom: Battle Bar has 4 hi-tech electric darts booths, perfect for all abilities. Full disclosure; I’m not a fan of darts, but this one intrigued me as it keeps score for you! With lots of game options and the ability to play in pairs or as a team – it’s the perfect activity for all.
The electric darts are a really fun and interactive game! I am really bad at darts, but I actually had loads of fun playing this. They have 2 types of board on offer at the venue, a more futuristic style game and an old school board design like this one…
Crazier Golf:
I’m a MASSIVE fan of crazy golf and have played at some of the most extravagant venues, but never seen a as cool as this one, it’s like nothing I’ve seen before.
It’s not your average game of crazy golf, hence the name!
With genius, well thought out holes, crazy catapults and conveyors, it’s super creative and fun. The best thing is, a lot of the holes are 4 players, meaning you can actually all play simultaneously.
This one was my favourite or the multiple player holes. Great fun and perfect for anyone who loves to get competitive like me. The aim is to get your ball in the whole first, but it’s way harder than it looks!
Food & Drink
Once you’ve worked up an appetitie throwing axes and putting those golf balls, there is a MOUTH WATERING food menu on offer! It’s quite rare to find a place that has both fun activities AND amazing food. Everything on the menu sounds delicious; from doughnut burgers, chicken wings and loaded fries to vegan hot dogs and fully loaded nachos!

The drinks menu is also ‘on-point’ with imaginative cocktails including from the ‘straight outta Liverpool’ to the ‘Zombie a puck alypse’.
You can also book a semi private hire at the Liverpool venue, with a big screen TV, Match Day Offers and Bulk Buy Bevs on offer. Great for all you footy fans out there.

Boom: Battle Bar, is based inside the former Poundland store in St Johns Shopping Centre. Open 7 days a week, 12pm to 1am weekdays and 12pm to 2am Friday to Sunday! Perfect for date nights, drinks with your work pals or nights out with girls and guys.
