emulsion cosmetics sls free shampoo review

I was pretty sure there would be nothing I could possibly learn about haircare when it comes to shampoos but hey turns out there is A LOT and my mind is well and truly blown.

So, if you haven’t heard of Emulsion I insist you google them immediately (after reading this post of course) they are the latest skincare/haircare revelation.

So how does Emulsion SLS Free Shampoo work?

Whether you’re looking for a product for your face, hair or body there will be a personalised routine just for you.

Through the range of products, they offer you can be sure to find the right blend for you and your skins requirements.

Base, Blend, Fragrance

Think of the base product as your blank canvas, waiting for you to add the blend and fragrance needed to suit your hair needs.

The shampoo is SLS free so is designed to clean your hair without stripping your hair of natural oils. I received a huge 500ml bottle of the Emulsion shampoo Base which I still don’t really feel I have made a dent in this so this is well worth the £20 price tag.

I then added a few drops of ‘Sweet dust’ add on which smells divine. With notes of lemon, orange and berries this left my hair smelling like I had just stepped out of the salon.

Would i use this SLS free shampoo again?

Potentially, I wont lie it did seem a little bit time consuming to combine the two to then give me the right balance between shampoo and fragrance, but for someone who has a very dry and delicate scalp these products did really work for me. They left my hair clean, soft and without irritating my scalp.

I love how you can customise the products to work for you, and once you have the base you can continue to add to your collection depending on the needs of your hair. And its not just different fragrances you can also add serums, essential oils and much more.

The products are not cheap but if you’re looking for something a little unique then Emulsion is the way to go.

Prices range from £16.
