High Street Beauty Heroes for less than £15: Skincare Edit

Skincare, you’re either into it or you’re not. You either spend all your disposable income on the latest products (hello me) or you’ve been using the same tub of Nivea since 1996. If you’re looking to update your skincare regime without breaking the bank, in our skincare edit we have featured just a few of my high street favourites to get your skin looking tip top.

Vitamin E Moisture boost facial serum £3.99

skincare edit

My go to day serum this has by far been my favourite for well over a year now. Lightweight and non-sticky this serum helps shield skin against environmental damage and premature skin ageing.

Fast absorbing it’s the perfect daily serum to be used before you apply your makeup.

Garnier Moisture Bomb face masks £1.99

My Sunday night skincare treat, I absolutely love these face masks. Whether you’re looking to hydrate, nourish or moisturize your skin there is one of these babies for all skin needs. Used for 15 minutes at least once a week you should notice a difference in the firmness, plumpness and hydration of your skin.

The Body Shop Body Butter £13

skincare edit

Forever my favourite luxury body butter, I have been using these for over 15 years and they have never changed which is a good thing! It leaves my skin feeling super hydrated, moisturized and smooth all over, a tub may seem a little expensive, but they are totally worth it.

They also smell delicious, my favourite is the Coconut one, which reminds me of holidays, and who doesn’t want to smell like that!

St Moritz Tan £4.99

skincare edit

If you’re new to tanning its always a little daunting spending some money on a bottle and not knowing how its going to look on your skin.  No need to worry with this one, not only is the price ideal, the range of shades and variations of tan in this range is amazing. Whether you prefer a lotion, a mousse or a spray in a light, medium or dark shade there is something for everyone. Easy to apply, no nasty tan smell and a gorgeous colour left behind I have been using the Medium mousse for the past couple of years and I’m never disappointed. Just make sure you use a clean mitt and exfoliate your skin prior to tanning for best results.

Carmex Lip Balm £2.99

Obsessed with this cherry treat, not only does it smell delicious, but it leaves your lips super soft without the need to keep reapplying. I have a tube of this in every bag I own!

Dove Exfoliating Body Scrub Macadamia and Rice milk £6.99

skincare edit

Using crushed macadamia nuts rather than those itchy microbeads everyone hates this scrub leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth rather than irritated and is perfect to use pre-tan!

Available in three varieties.

Garnier Rose milk cleanser and toner from £2.99

If you’re still using wipes (I hope not!) then make the switch from wipes to a cleanser and toner immediately and I promise you it won’t be long until you see the difference in your skin.

I love this range in particular as my skin can be quite sensitive and this instantly soothes any redness or dry skin.
