Liverpool Restaurants: wagamama Launch New Signature Ramen Dishes

Wagamama Ramen Dishes

We were lucky enough to be invited to an intimate meal with the head chef at wagamama. After recently reviewing the New Mersey Retail Park Resturant, we were excited to go along and learn all about the new signature wagamama Ramen dishes and the fresh new look for the restaurant.

The Head Chef  took us on a journey through the culinary history of Ramen and the new additions to the iconic Japanese menu available at Wagamama.

The culinary history of Ramen

You’ve been slurping all wrong! In Japan, Ramen is a culinary touchstone that goes way beyond food, and the noodle is a favourite among natives and tourists alike. The Japanese believe that the longer the noodle the longer you will live and the slurping helps bring out the flavour of the noodles. It aslo has many health benefits, as you are taking in more oxygen with the longer slurps.
