In appreciation of the fine specimen of a man that is ‘Tom hardy‘, we’ve put together the ultimate ranking of Hardy’s movie characters in order of hot-ness! Tom Hardy Sexy scenes – You are welcome ladies!
17. Charles Bronson in Bronson
Bronson isn’t Tom Hardy’s most attractive role, we’ll admit that, but his perfomance as notorious prisoner who was renamed Charles Bronson by his fight promoter is undenibly iconic.
16. Bane in The Dark Knight Rises
Ok, the Dark Knight loses points because we can’t see Tom’s beauful face, but he is shirtless for the majority so, you know, you’ve got to take the rough with the smooth!
15. Pfc. John Janovec in Band of Brothers
Honourable mention has to go to a very young Tom Hardy in Band of Brothers, where he played John; a replacement in Easy Company who was assigned to the unit in its latter stages. Too sweet!
14. Leo Demidov in Child 44
Let’s be honest, the tragic fake-Russian accents in Child 44 made it hard to take the thriller seriously – but Tom Hardy was a welcome relief from an otherwise embarassing film. His magnetic screen presence made the whole film worth watching, proving once again that a little bit of Tom goes a long way.
13. Handsome Bob in RocknRolla
Even though he plays a gay gangster, and the film as a whole is confusing as fuck with an over-long mish-mash of scarcely linked sub-plots, Tom still manages to make this character look hot!
12. Clarkie in Layer Cake
With slicked back hair and dark shades, Clarkie is a far cry from Tom’s usual, rugged look on-screen. But this ‘take-him-home-to-your-mum look is a welcome entry into Tom’s extensive hot hall of fame!
11. Twombly in Black Hawk Down
To his credit, it would have been impossible for anyone to steal the spotlight from the giant collection of excellent actors populating Black Hawk Down, but Hardy nails down the fresh-faced supporting role here.
10. James Keziah Delaney in Taboo
James Keziah, is a former corporal with an inclination to violence and insubordination, portrayed by Tom hardy (who also co-created the 8-part TV series).
Tom really shows he’s a man of many talents with this character, but we’re not a fan of the wardrobe choices so we’ve picked out one that shows him in all his glory!
9. Farrier in Dunkirk
Ok ok, I know we’ve already talked a lot about Tom Hardy’s (gorgeous) appearance, but his portrayal as Farrier in Dunkirk is a true reminder of why he is one of the finest actors in the world today.
In the scene where his plane runs out of fuel, remorse, fear, adrenaline, valour, resignation and pure exhaustion all flash across Hardy’s face in just a couple of minutes and just… wow!
8. Eames in Inception
For many people, Inception was diffcult film to watch. With it’s twists, turns and often difficult-to-digest plot, there wasn’t much room for light-heartedness or humour.
That is, until Tom Hardy popped up. Eames provides the energy and verve that is much needed in this film from the moment he steps on screen, and honestly, we’re here for it.
7. Tuck in This Means War
A pair of CIA operatives wage an epic battle against one another when they discover they are dating the same woman (Reese Witherspoon).
Tom Hardy and Pine are both charming leads, but Hardy would definitely win us over every time! The film itself isn’t much different than any other rom-com, but is slides by on the strength of Tom Hardy!
6. Forrest Bondurant in Lawless
With a dynamite cast and an iconic screenwriters, Lawless absolutely lived up to expectations as a ‘new classic’. The character ‘Forrest’ was originally suppose to be played by Ryan Gosling, but after Tom Hardy’s insane performance in Bronson he was cast for the role – and we’re glad they made the switch! We can’t imagine Gosling playing this role as ‘bad-ass’ as Hardy did!
5. Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders
Violent and unpredictable, intelligent and calculating; Alfie Solomans is the ultimate master negotiator. He is renowned for his violent outbursts and using confusing language to intimidate and dominate everyone around him. Sure, he’s a grade A dickhead, but be honest girls, you still would.
4. Max Rockatansky in Mad Max Fury Road
Max escapes the clutches of the gang known as the ‘War Boys’ and joins Imperator Furiosa in her quest to help free other five women who were also captured. Out of all of the Mad Max films, Tom brings out more of the beast than any of the other actors who’d played this role! Tom Hardy in a sexy military / warrior outfit – what more could you want?!
3. Tom Conlon in Warrior
With his dark, brooding intesnity and damaged appeal, Tommy Riordan was the brother in Warrior that had every girl believing they could be the one to change him. I mean, just look at that six pack.
2. Reggie Kray in Legend
Brian Helgeland’s iconic film, Legend, is about the lives of the notorious Reggie and Ronnie Kray. The two murderous East End gangsters were mixed crime with celebrity schmoozing in 1960s London, and inspired a totally different Hardy performance to what we’re used to.
Or rather, two of them. Tom was top of his game as both of the legendary Kray brothers, making this a very close second on our list.
1. Bob Saginowski in The Drop
What’s the only thing sexier than Tom Hardy? Tom Hardy holding a puppy, obviously. Not only do we love Bob Saginowski for rescuing a battered pit bull pup, but his determination to get him back when his cruel owner steals him back is the stuff to make us dog-broody for life.
