Whilst I’m not completely ready to pack up all of my liquid lipsticks just yet I have found a new love for lip oils and serums, because really who doesn’t want that hydrated glossy lip for the warmer months? The perfect in-between lip product from lipstick to gloss lip oils and serums have well and truly taken over the beauty world.
Here are just a few of my recommended best lip treatment products that have been tried and tested that are well worth a slot in your makeup bag.
SANN Nourish and Tint lip serum, £24
Available in four different shades these solid lip serums contain no silicones, parabens no fragrance, and are 100% Vegan. Combined with precious oils and rich ingredients they contain subtle colour to create a dewy, hydrated finish. If you find lipstick and glosses too high maintenance then you will love these nourishing lip serums. My lips have never felt softer or more hydrated. I love that they have a very subtle colour to them too and my particular favourite is shade wild which would be perfect to take into the evening. The colour can also be built up if you require more intensity.
Addict Lip Glow, Dior, £29.50
Probably the most popular lip oil on the market today but also one of the priciest the Dior lip oil has become a cult classic. Luminous oil which is available in 8 sheer shades is nonsticky and super glossy on the lips. Do I think it’s worth the price point? Maybe not for every day, but if you love a natural glow this would be the perfect addition to the look.
Plump me up Lip Serum, Makeup Revolution, £6
Cruelty-free and containing Vitamin E this is one of the best budget-friendly lip serums on the market right now. Promising to improve moisturization and strengthen the skin barrier I love how nourished this leaves my lips with the added plumping factor to the lips making them look extra hydrated and juicy! Applied with a super soft applicator my particular favourite is shade orange glaze.
Lip Comfort Oil, Clarins, £20
Another boujee lip product to add to your list is the lip comfort oils from Clarins I am kind of obsessed! Available in 8 shades they are super nourishing and enriched with a trio of plant oils to protect, comfort, and plump the lips. Leaving your skin more hydrated and nourished than any lipstick can! Although the shades are pretty sheer there is a pop of colour to each, my favorite being raspberry which has a touch of pink in the light! The shade honey can also opt for nighttime lip treatment.
