Ghetto Golf Liverpool Influencer Event

Ghetto Golf Liverpool

Last night we attended Ghetto Golf’s influencer event with some of our favourite Liverpool Bloggers, for a fun packed night of cocktail making, delicious food, live music and finishing off with a crazy golf championship.

We arrived at the Liverpool venue which is based at Cains Brewery, greeted by the lovely Pink Media team who organised the event. They showed us through to the On Air Cocktail bar (which is adjoining to the Ghetto Golf venue) for a fabulous drinks reception.

Live Music with On Air

There was live music from the amazing one man singing, rapping, beat-boxing, guitar-playing extraordinaire ‘Sam Wise’. He rapped and beat-boxed some classics including Disney songs like The Little Mermaid and it was insane. If you’re looking for a something a bit different to do in Liverpool, On Air plays host to loads of talented musicians like Sam, check out there Instagram for upcoming events.

Cocktail Masterclass:

As there were so many bloggers at the event they split us into 4 groups for a cocktail masterclass with some of the Ghetto Golf bartenders, we headed upstairs with our group and started off with a demo of each of the cocktails on the menu.

Once we’d watched the bartender do his thing, we went behind the bar to have a go at mixing ourselves.

We learned how to make two cocktails from the menu, the ‘Sicker Than Yo Average’ and the ‘Whato love’, he taught us the reasons behind the process, order and techniques for mixing and pouring like a pro.

Golf Championship:

We split into teams of 3 for the golf championship, choosing our team name ‘The Daily Struggle’ (obviously) and headed into venue – game faces on!

The Ghetto Golf Liverpool venue is something else, it’s like walking into a colourful neon wonderland, with neon graffiti all over the walls and seriously twisted 18 hole mini golf course. Each hole has a different theme, from the retro caravan to the Bob Marley shed, they take the concept of crazy golfing to another level.

From the 30 plus bloggers that attended, The Daily Struggle come in 2nd place! We won a fabulous bottle of Fifty Pounds gin and glass. First place went to the ‘Balls Deep’ team (I think they deserved to win just for the name choice) well done guys @eatlvpl @wirralfoodscene and @foodieliverpooleats!

We had an amazing time at the event and highly recommend Ghetto Golf and On Air for a fun night out in the City! Check out the Liverpool Section for guides on other fun things to do in and around Liverpool.
