MAC makeup: the best products worth buying

MAC makeup has always been my go-to brand for pretty much anything and everything over the years. Of course I love to try new products and brands and anyone who reads my posts know I am a lover of a dupe.

But sometimes you really cannot beat a trip to MAC.

MAC Makeup

And guess what?

It’s now available from Boots, so no more of the squashing into the MAC counters hoping one of the girls will become free and look your way, you can now shop instore and online.

MAC, owned by Estee Lauder and made famous originally by Madonna, was the first brand to do backstage make up for catwalk shows and has always been a favourite of Celebs with many collaborations over the years, lets just not mention the Dame Edna collection.

So here are just a few of my cult classic cant live without products that if you haven’t already, then you NEED to try!

Velvet Teddy lipstick

You knew I was going to say that didn’t you? My ultimate pinky nude lipstick I have never found a better shade to suit my skintone. Matte but without being too drying this lipstick is my must have purchase and one I will forever recommend to anyone who will listen. Long lasting this will always be my lipstick to wear time and time again.

Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

Long lasting yet lightweight, this was one of the first foundations I went for when I started to earn my own money and is one I still have in my makeup bag today. Excellent coverage and in a range of different shades it’s a good foundation to try if you’re wanting to invest in a high coverage product.

Mineralise Skin finish

A slow baked powder with 77 mineral complex providing a natural finish, I have been obsessed with the shade ‘Give me sun’ for years. No other bronzing powder compares. Available in a range of different shades this product is the ultimate powder if you have oily skin. Easy to blend it sits well on the face without that cakey look that some powders can give.

Prep and Prime Lip

I first received his product as a present from my Mum and I remember thinking £16 for a lip prep? How can that be worth the money? How wrong I was! This has been a staple in my makeup kit for years now and is always something I will recommend to anyone, whether you’re wanting your lips natural and nourished or as a way to pro long your lipstick this is the ideal primer. Not only does it add moisture to your lips is also smoothes and refines your lips making it the perfect base to add your lipstick too.
