If there is one thing my skincare regime is lacking it’s for sure facials. As good as I am at looking after my skin at home I hardly ever treat myself to a professional facial so I jumped at the chance to be offered a million-dollar facial as part of a spa day I attended at Mottram Hall.
The 10 million state-of-the-art Champney’s spa did not disappoint on location or facilities and has quickly become the most stylish destination in Cheshire.

Before my treatment I was allowed full access to the spa facilities at Mottram Hall which includes a panoramic gym, steam and sauna rooms, hydro pool, and indoor swimming pool, it was probably the best Tuesday I have ever had!
Set within 270 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the grade 2 listed building boasts an impressive 18-hole championship golf course alongside the impressive £15M Champneys spa.
My appointment was just before lunch so I had a couple of hours to fully appreciate the facilities as well as get a quick workout in too!
I received the mini million dollar facial which was a 30-minute treatment. I was taken through a consultation first where we touched upon my skincare routine and also any skin concerns I had, it was a great opportunity to see how my skin was looking and whether or not I was following the correct regime. The mini million dollar facial targets all skin types and concerns and is the perfect introduction to the products. It combined a deep cleanse, exfoliation, ice globe massage, mask and moisturise. Not only was this super relaxing I instantly saw a difference in my skin, it was an instant glow! one of my favourite parts of the facial was the lymphatic drainage, something I haven’t quite mastered myself yet, this instantly de-puffs the face and helps with fine lines and wrinkles.
Having now experienced the facial for myself alongside some products I was kindly gifted at the spa I absolutely will be keeping up with these facials monthly.
