Working from home feel good essentials

feel good essentials

Like most people I am starting week four of working from home and it has taken a lot of adjusting. It can be tricky to change everything you have been doing for years and changing your mindset can take time.

If you’re not used to it, you’re probably also struggling to keep to your usual beauty regime.

Here are just a few of the feel good essentials I have been using to keep me motivated working from home and feeling more my usual self.

Feel good essentials hair mask

Although working from home has the benefits of not adding heat to my hair every day I do like to keep on top of looking after my hair as much as possible, so adding a heat mask into my hair care regime every couple of days is ideal.

I use Creightons deep conditioning hair mask with added coconut and keratin.

Hand Wash

You’re probably washing your hands twice as much as normal so treat yourself to a more luxurious one and add some hand cream on after to keep your hands feeling nourished and soft.

I love the Shea hand wash for £5 from The Body Shop.

Add a room Diffuser to your workspace

Wherever you’re working from its important to keep your space, clean tidy and smelling fresh. A room diffuser can help to boost your senses and make you feel more awake and invigorated.

If you’re feeling anxious or looking for something more relaxing pick one with Lavender, this will help to make you feel more calm.

Try Amazon or Wax lyrical for purse friendly diffusers.

And don’t forget to hydrate

Keep on top of your water intake, fill up a bottle and keep it on your desk to ensure you are hydrated throughout the day.

Get outside if you can, open the windows, sit in the garden and make sure you still take a break away from your desk.

Meditate daily if you can, download an app and try and incorporate this into your everyday. If this doesn’t suit, write down three things you are grateful for everyday.

And more importantly, stay safe.

xx
