B Bakery London Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

B Bakery London

The B Bakery London Afternoon Tea Bus Tour by Brigit’s Bakery is in one word (or maybe two), simply delightful. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon – driving through London’s hotspots, sipping prosecco and unlimited tea and coffee and stuffing our faces with delicious sandwiches and the cutest homemade cakes. We hopped on the bus for the St Patrick’s Day tour and left feeling full and content, having seen London in a completely new way.

The vintage bus is beautiful and to celebrate Paddy’s Day was decked out with four leaf clovers, green flowers and treats and we even had a Guinness chocolate mousse waiting for us (which was way more delicious than it sounds)

Having opted for the Traditional tea, we were not disappointed by the selection of goodies. Ranging from the classic finger sandwiches to pastrami and gherkin burgers in tomato bread, there’s a favourite for everyone. The portion size is perfect and for two people, have more than enough to indulge in. For the two of us, we had a portion for four and both left with a box of leftovers (which yes, I did eat the next day for lunch). Whilst we had the traditional tea, Brigit’s Bakery also offer a range of alternative menus including gluten free and vegan for an additional £3.

Following our delicious savoury lunch, our tour guide offered out warm homemade scones, jam and clotted cream which was the icing on the cake – it wouldn’t be afternoon tea without it, after all. We topped this off with pistachio macarons, chocolate cupcakes, our mini Guinness mouse and sponges with cream which were all heavenly.

The bus tour is the ultimate afternoon out and perfect for your mums, nans, grans or a cute day out with friends. Tickets start from £45 per adult and for 90 minutes of sightseeing, beautifully baked treats and the cutest souvenir (we’ll leave that as a surprise) was totally worth it.

I am so pleased that I got the chance to venture out and experience the Bus Tour for St Patrick’s Day. It was the cutest afternoon, food was fabulous and the tour guides were super helpful – having lived in London my entire life, I still left the bus having learned a few things and I will certainly be booking another trip!
