The best concealers for dark circles – Reviewed

Not adding concealer to your make up routine is like having pen without paper, Ant without Dec, a car without a licence… you get the idea. Some things just work better together. Concealer is one of them, for me it is a godsend. Not only can concealer help in the coverage department it can cover any imperfections, breakouts and reduce the look of redness on the skin. So I wanted to share some of the best concealers for dark circles

A good quality concealer can work alongside your foundation to give you the flawless coverage we are all searching for.

Any hey, if you’ve had one too many late nights, whack on a bit of concealer under the eyes and your boss will never know.

Two key things to remember; for the undereye area be sure to choose a shade of concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your natural skin tone, if you are using a concealer to cover blemishes make sure you choose a shade that matches your foundation exactly.

Here are just a few of the best concealers for dark circles…

Barry M – all night concealer £4.49

Full coverage concealer, that doesn’t crease under the eyes this has become a staple concealer in my make up bag. The consistency is great, and you can build up the coverage easily.

With 10 shades for under £5 this really is a good purse friendly concealer.

Kalme chameleon concealer £19.95

Okay so the price, I can imagine you reading this thinking “£20 for a concealer?”. But bear in mind this is for a 30ml bottle, which compared to NARS, MAC and other high end make up brands who charge £25+ for concealer this is actually really good value for money.

I was intrigued to try this concealer especially as when I first tried it on the back of my hand it was green! However as soon as you rub this product into your skin it changes colour and offers amazing coverage.

If you have dark circles or you suffer from rosacea this concealer would work really well for you, it instantly covered yet brightened my skin and evened out my skin tone. It applies well without feeling too dry or cakey on the skin and the overall feel and finish of this product is quite impressive. With added SPF20 (which most concealers don’t contain) and free from any parabens and perfumes this is a great product to use if you suffer from sensitive skin.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser £8.99

A best seller on most beauty websites this concealer, if you haven’t tried it already is a must. Things I love about this product is how blendable it is. It’s creamy whilst offering the full coverage look that I personally love.

The applicator can take a little getting used to (you have to click the bottom of the tube to release the product) however once you do, you will find it gives you just the right amount each time.
