Best non alcoholic drinks that taste just like the real deal!

The sun is shining, the temperature is peeking over 20 degrees, we all know the drill. It’s time for a drink, right? So many of us reach for an ice-cold beer or a gin and tonic when the weather is nice, but there are lots of lovely alcohol-free options now available on the market that taste just as good as the real thing.

I’m not a non-drinker, but I do drink far less alcohol than I used to. I like the option of having a cold beer straight from the fridge, without having to commit to drinking something alcoholic, having a sore head the next day or a less-than-average sleep.

Alcohol-free spirits, such as gin and beers have become so popular in recent years and seeing as I regularly add a new tipple or two to my weekly shop, I thought I’d share some of the best non alcoholic drinks that I love.

Here are 6 of the best non alcoholic drinks that are perfect for Summer!

Koppaberg Gin & Lemonade Strawberry and Lime Alcohol Free

If you’re after a drink to enjoy with the girls or in the garden after work, without the woozy head, this could be the one for you. It ticks quite a few boxes and big brand, Koppaberg, who is known best for cider, has come up with the goods with this alcohol-free gin replica.

It’s sweet but not too sickly, a good sized can to enjoy without feeling like you’re drinking too much sugar, with a nod to the classic Koppaberg Strawberry and Lime cider. A job well done!

Birra Moretti Zero Alcohol Free Beer

Sometimes, nothing hits the spot like an ice-cold beer. Which is why I highly recommend stashing a few bottles of Birra Moretti Zero in the fridge! This is by far my favourite non-alcoholic beer on the market. It tastes just like the real thing and quenches your thirst in the same way too.

It’s obvious that you’re drinking zero percent beer, thanks to the large labelling across the bottle, but it’s not too shabby and you may even convince die hard beer fans with this one. Perfect for designated drivers at weddings!

Morisons Pina Colada Mocktail

We’re all partial to a mocktail, now and again, aren’t we? This is a great, cost-effective mocktail to try at just 80p a can! It goes without saying you’re missing the rum punch of a classic pina colada, but it delivers on the sweet coconut flavour.

I wouldn’t crack open straight from the shop – pop it in the fridge or the freezer to chill and serve in a gin balloon to give yourself the full experience. A nice treat now and again, but I couldn’t drink all night. Perfect for summer festivals.

Corona Cero Zero Alcohol Free Beer

Relatively new to the market, Corona has thrown its hat in the ring with this alcohol-free beer. It’s a light, golden beer that’s not too sweet nor dissimilar to its alcoholic counterpart.

Perfect for drinks in the park on a sunny day. With it being so light you could easily drink a couple comfortably without feeling the inevitable beer bloat! I’ll definitely buy this one again.

Doom Bar Zero Amber Ale

An honourable mention for a beer that my partner likes. He’s a fan of the alcoholic version and Doom Bar Zero seems to hit the spot too. It was a bit too similar to an ale for me, which means they’ve done something right!

It’s a really good alcohol-free ale option for those looking to switch it up. Satisfying and moreish with that classic hops taste, it’s an alcohol-free drink we’ll be buying again.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%

Another beer that many of us may reach for during the summer months that has now delivered an alcohol-free alternative. Similarly to Corona’s offering. I really enjoy drinking a Peroni zero beer. Ice cold, it really hits the spot and is super refreshing thanks to that crisp classic Italian taste. A brilliant starting point if you’re looking to try alcohol free beers.
