Liverpool is well known for its music scene, from the Fab Four and the cavern club, to it’s thriving and developing new bands, artists and diverse music culture, Music is woven into the heart of the City. Each year Liverpool plays host to a diverse array of festivals and events, so we’ve put together a list of some of the best Liverpool Music Festivals to attend this year.

BBC Radio 6 Music Festival

This year’s BBC Radio 6 festival will be held at locations across the city of Liverpool, over 3 days from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st March.

Creamfields

First held in 1998 in Winchester, the festival moved to Cream’s home city of Liverpool the following year, taking place on the old Liverpool airport, before moving to its current location on the Daresbury estate in Cheshire.The World’s leading dance music festival returns in 2019 for one unforgettable weekend of music! Reminisce Festival

Reminisce festival is the UK’s best Old Skool dance music festival. Thousands of people come together in a field to rave away the hours – just like back in the day!

Threshold Festival Of Music & Arts

Threshold Festival of Music & Arts has its roots in the creative industries of Liverpool and the North West. For eight successive years, the event has brought together a diverse wealth of artists, musicians, promoters, academics and enthusiasts to The Baltic Triangle district of the city.

Liverpool Disco Festival

LDF celebrates the legacy of underground dance music inspired by Chicago and New York City. A special collection of artists for this years event, including their first ever outdoor ‘NYC Block Party’ with lineup TBA! Held at Camp And Furnace in the Baltic Triangle.

Africa Oyé has become a must-go-to festival with Liverpool residents over the past few years, it’s the UK’s largest free celebration of African music & culture.
