The ‘season of giving’ is just around the corner, and now more than ever little gestures of goodwill will make a big difference. As a Liverpool-founded lifestyle mag, we wanted to show our support for local Liverpool gift shops and independant businesses in the run up to Christmas.

Liverpool Gift Shops

The Nest, Albert Dock

Since opening it’s doors in Liverpool’s famous Albert Dock back in May 2018, The Nest has become an iconic haven for all things arty.

Proudly selling work created by some of the best local artists, designers, photographers, and makers; this is your one-stop-shop for stunning artwork, beautiful ceramics, one-of-a-kind jewellery and gorgeous greetings cards.

Scouse Bird Shop, Tarelton Street

Offering a whole range of one-of-a-kind products from both local liverpool and other independant sellers, Scouse Bird shop is one of the best Liverpool gift shops to visit if you’re looking for something truly unique.

From pinatas with Thatcher’s face on and ‘fuck the Tories’ jewellery, to cute books and hilarious mugs that are the perfect choice for stocking fillers; you’ll lose hours in this little treasure trove – so please try to remember that you’re shopping for others, not just for yourself!

Scouse Bird Shop also doubles as a coffee shop, and if famous for it’s iconic pink hot chocolate, so don’t miss out!

MerseyMade, Paradise Street

The idea behind MerseyMade was to create a creatice hub for local makers to permanently showcase their work in Liverpool City Centre. Since it opened, it’s established a unique and vibrant community of creatives offering a range of different products, making this one of the most unique Liverpool gift shops to visit.

Expect stunning prints of Liverpool, head-turning jewellery, as well as diverse homeware and beauty products. There’s even a local cafe inside, so you can stop for a breather in between shopping.

Frieda Mo’s, Lark Lane

Our favourite Lark Lane haunt has it all! Named after the owner’s two grandma’s, Freida Mo’s is a wonderland of good vibes and vintage treasures.

This independent vintage fashion boutique and event space sells everything vinyl to vintage dating right the way back from early 1900 right up to the present day. Oh, and don’t forget to grab one of their delicious home made cakes befoe you go – we’d recommend sitting in the window to enjoy it while you watch the world go by!

Crescent Liverpool, Maghull Square

Specialising in luxury lifestyle products, Crescent Liverpool is the perfect place to get your beauty and bath-inspired gifts in Liverpool this Christmas. Expect handmade candles, wax melts, bath bombs, diffusers, room sprays & soaps – all vegan friendly & cruelty free.

At Crescent, Planet Earth comes first – they believe in fair trade, fair wages & accessible luxury for the masses.
