Stickle Bricks farm set review; a nostalgia toy that can be passed down

Stickle Bricks farm set review

Stickle Bricks have been around since 1969 so they are a family classic that most people spent their childhood playing with. A touch of nostalgia! The perfect toy for as little as 18 months right up to 5 years, although the adults have definitely been joining in!

Are Stickle Bricks good sibling play?

Stickle Bricks are a great toy for siblings who can play together and let their imaginations run wild. They are easy to assemble so they are perfect for Rosalie (3) and Remmy (2). They come in handy tubs or boxes that are great for storage and keep them all together, that got the thumbs up from me!

They have a number of different sets and I am definitely thinking about getting the girls some more for Christmas so they can add to their collection! The Stickle Bricks farm set has kept them entertained for more than 10 minutes and as a mum of two toddlers, that’s all I can ask for!

What age are Stickle Bricks for?

They are suitable for toddlers as the bricks lock in any direction and allow for easy assemble, its a fantastic way of building motor skills in younger ones.

They are sturdy and the best part is that there are no small parts, which menas they’re perfect from as young as 18 months, and are recommended up to 5 years (but still lots of fun for all ages).

What can you make with the Stickle Bricks farm set?

The girls have been having so much fun with their new farm set. It includes 19 Stickle Bricks that are a variety of colours, shapes and sizes! It really allows children to explore and see what they can create!

They’ve made a farmer, a field full of crops, a tractor and an animal pen (they even fed some grass to the sheep!) They love to point out the different colours and designs, Remmy’s favourites are the carrots!

Stickle Bricks

They have named the farmer Old McDonald and they sing the song with the different animals, there are so many play opportunities with Stickle Bricks! The tractor has wheels so they are able to drive it round the garden running round with the little animals.

Not only are they aiding physical development, they are developing their cognitive, language and emotional skills. It’s a win-win all around.

This set would be a great gift ideas for toddlers this Christmas!
